KGI initiated research on Singapore O&G with a neutral rating because of downside risk to its dermatology business. Dermatology earnings are likely to be depressed this year but the value of a stock mainly comes from future earnings so I’m willing to be patient. Link TripAdvisor’s CEO said in a Skift interview that the company is willing to trade traffic for repeat usage. TripAdvisor’s focus on repeat usage is aimed at helping users plan all parts of their trip (hotel, dining, experiences and retail). I’ll like to see user traffic increasing in 2021 though. Platforms can become irrelevant if they lose too many users. Separately, June’s US jobs report smashed expectations with the economy adding 4.8 million jobs with leisure and hospitality accounting for most of these jobs (2.1 million jobs).
