Why I Did Not Choose to be a Financial Advisor

In this day and age, if I would ask you to name 10 of your close friends and chances are, one of them would be a
  • Financial Manager
  • Financial Advisor
  • Wealth Management Associate
  • Financial Planners
or also known as, INSURANCE AGENT. I mean… the above titles also quite “sat-ki” la. Unbeknownst to many of our readers, Kym and I were actually almost one foot into the world of Financial Advisory. Like many who have just graduated then, we were kinda lost, uncertain, and at the same time, also open to many different opportunities which we were exposed to! Now, this article is purely my/our views on why we chose a different career path and why this career path could work and thrive for others! We also wish to understand and clarify certain social stigmas that are present in the insurance industry (they exist for a reason) and how these may be better tastefully executed ....
