PSA: COVID-19 Muis Support Fund (CMSF) to Assist Eligible Muslim Households

With the COVID-19 pandemic affecting a majority of Singaporeans, it is important that we help each other out and provide information on any potential support schemes that can help us tide through this crisis. On top of the various support packages and GST vouchers that were announced over the past few months, there are also various assistance packages in place.

COVID-19 Muis Support Fund (CMSF)

The Majilis Ugama Islan Singapura (Muis) will be allocating $1.6 million for the COVID-19 Muis Support Fund (CMSF) to help ease the financial burden of affected Muslim households. Here are the details of the funds and who will be eligible for it.

Assistance $400 per application (Limited to 1 application per household)
Eligibility Singaporeans/ Permanent Resident At least 21 years old Currently not receiving Muis Zakat Financial Assistance and/or ComCare Income per Capita between $400 - $1,000 Employees or self-employed who experienced at least 30% loss of income Not for those who have been unemployed or faced loss of job before 23 January 2020
