2020 Q3 – Another Quarter Closer to FIRE.

It is time to take stock of my financial journey again. I was very fortunate this quarter. I have a challenging new job to explore, a bonus that I didn’t expect, and a nice reward from the stock market. Here is the bird’s eye view in graphs. There were some major changes in my shareholdings. If you are interested, you can scroll all the way to the bottom and read about the transactions. But before we go there, let me digress.

A Reminder For Myself And My Readers

As I write posts like this, let me remind us all that the stock market is not all happiness and celebrations. It can be an absolute horror show during some periods.
  • I know a friend who bought stocks during the optimism in January, then sold at the absolute abyss of April. He missed the rally and is now waiting for God-knows-what-Armageddon before reinvesting.
