Singapore Stock Market Review: Keppel DC REIT to Join Straits Times Index

Singapore Stock Market Update (Week of 16 October 2020) Singapore’s stock market benchmark, as represented by the Straits Times Index (STI), closed at 2,533.02 points on 16 October. It ended the week almost unchanged from 2,532.96 last Friday. Of the 30 STI components, 11 finished in the green, 15 were in the red, while four were flat for the week. The biggest winners of the index were: Sembcorp Industries Limited (SGX: U96) — up 8.3% to S$1.44 Venture Corporation Ltd (SGX: V03) — up 2.5% to S$20.79 Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp Limited (SGX: O39) — up 1.7% to S$8.74 The biggest losers of the index were: Genting Singapore (SGX: G13) — down 3.6% to S$0.67 Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited (SGX: J36) — down 5.1% to US$40.72 Jardine Strategic Holdings Limited (SGX: J37) — down 6.5% to US$19.77 Here’s a chart showing the weekly STI movement: <figure aria-describedby="caption-attachment-74295" class="wp-caption...
