ESR-REIT (SGX:J91U) declares Distribution Per Unit of 0.798 Singapore Cents for the quarter ended 30 September (3Q 2020), with a total distributable income of S$28.3 million for the quarter. This includes S$3.5 million (or 50%) of the distribution from 1Q2020 which was previously retrained due to COVID-19 uncertainties, and reflects the “resilience and stability of the portfolio and the gradual resumption of economic activities”. Without the retained distribution, total DPU for 3Q2020 would be 0.700 Singapore Cents, an increase of 5.7% from last quarter, but a 19.0% decrease from previous year. Distribution reflects the rental rebates set aside to support tenants adversely affected by COVID-19 as well as the slower-than-expected market recovery.
