2020 Q4 Portfolio. Reached half a million in my 30s

As 2020 comes to an end, it is the time for my final portfolio checkpoint. This quarter, I’ve experienced several new things and want to talk more about them. Before we continue, here’s a last minute reminder to put money into your SRS or CPF Retirement Account for tax savings if you haven’t done so. If you are already an existing DBS/OCBC/UOB internet banking customer, it should take just a couple of minutes to get it set up. Anyway, back to business. Here’s what I went through this quarter.
  1. Started contributing to my SRS account and bought my 1st index fund
  2. Found out an ex-colleague is seriously sick
  3. Crossed half a million in networth
