An Unprecedented Year – 2020 Reflections

As we come to the end of a tumultuous year, I thought it’d be good to pen my thoughts and reflections. Career This year, I am thankful that I still have a job and was not dealt any paycuts etc. I have seen friends who are affected adversely – either losing their job or taking a sizeable pay cut. That has affected their quality of life and set them back on their life goals. On the work front, I am thankful to have supportive colleagues and my boss, who regularly offers guidance. However, I can feel that my growth is stagnating and I will have to find ways to improve in 2021. I hope that 2021 will provide clarity on my plans for the next 5 years and how I should set out to achieve them. If possible, I hope that I can find more mentors to bounce off ideas and become a better asset in the workplace....
