I dare call Grab a South east Asia Super App simply because of its ease of use amongst Asian countries. As a very very regular business traveler in Asia (pre-covid), I was (still am) literally a sucker for Grab wherever I went as I could get off a plane in Vietnam, Jakarta or Malaysia and use the very same Grab app to book my airport transfer. This is potentially groundbreaking as I am now a customer of Grab where ever I go. As a business tourist, Grab is fantastic as it prevents me from getting scammed by the locals and to be honest, it is really cheap (probably not in the next 5 years).
