The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced several new changes to MediShield Life earlier this year, in light of rising healthcare costs that they say necessitated higher premiums. As a result, some consumers are now having difficulty keeping up with the rise in their insurance premiums. The question on everyone’s mind is thus whether MediShield Life is sufficient, or if one still needs a private Integrated Shield plan (IP) to supplement it.
