After a near 2.5 months break from blogging, I am finally back from my short hiatus. So many things have evolved over the past months on the personal front, but not much on the financial markets – while we see the S&P 500 and Nasdaq reaching record high last week, the markets have been trudging along sideways with not much movements. My work situation has changed considerably and if all goes well, I will be starting a new role come the middle of next month. It will be an exciting role in a new environment and I am relishing the new opportunity. Casting our eye to the property front, we see that it has risen in the past months with resale flats going up once more. That does not bode well for my partner and I, especially at times like these when we are starting our search for a humble abode together....
