Sunday Times Saved by the Squid and SRS Portfolio – 1 Oct 2021

I used to enjoy reading the Sunday Times but not ever since Lorna Tan left for DBS and Tan Ooi Boon took over. The topics each week are rather boring and predictable.
You can tell that Ooi Boon is a fan of the CPF scheme and doesn't really invest as he is always concerned about investors getting into credit card debts and being conned. I think you need someone who is more curious about the world, someone who really invests, to be the invest editor of Sunday Times. The papers can definitely do better in inspiring people to want to learn more about investing and planning for retirement instead of just relying on CPF day in day out and avoiding investing. I am sad to say that I am no longer excited to read the Sunday Times. 😫 

 I was lamenting about another boring Sunday Times paper but luckily it was saved by the Squid Game.
