Minimum spends and noisy schoolchildren on a bus share a few things in common: they’re annoying, and on sometimes they feel a little too much. Unfortunately for people who prefer cashback, it seems like minimum spends and high-earn cashback cards go hand-in-hand these days. I can’t think of a card beyond 2% cashback that doesn’t have a minimum spending requirement.

The Standard Chartered Smart Credit Card is a little different.
