Here's an update on the portfolio's performance. YTD Performance Passive Portfolio: +8.93% Vanguard 500 Index: +23.91% (Source: Portfolio Visualizer) October has been a good month for the stock market. In fact, it's the best month for this year. All three US indices have seen decent gains in October. Records highs are made for the indices despite some disappointing results from some of the Big Tech companies (eg. Amazon and Apple). Following the drop in share price after Apple's revenue miss Wall Street analysts's estimates this quarter, Microsoft has now replaced Apple as the largest listed company in the World by market cap. Such broad market rally has also put my portfolio returns in a good position as it now back to almost +9% YTD.
