It’s a Saturday night. You’re about to go on a first date and have spent hours looking for the perfect outfit. You get your hair styled and slather on some cologne (or perfume, for the ladies). You even spend the time to ensure that the perfect date is planned out. It’s a lot of effort for someone you’ve never met, so why do you do it? Well, it’s simple – it’s all about making a good first impression. There’s an old rule of thumb that says you have seven seconds to make a good first impression.
