It is really unbelievable how time flies! Looks like we’re nearing the end of 2021 already! Once again, it is fast approaching the time of the year when we’d soon see fresh bloggers entering the scene, keen to start documenting their journey in personal finance. As always, I find it fascinating and encouraging to read about the experience of others, and to learn from their expertise. Even after nine years of blogging, this is still the case. Personal finance can be such a divisive topic sometimes. I don’t have to like or agree with what others are saying, and likewise, there would be people who feel the same way about me. Hello there! I am Kevin and the author behind the Turtle Investor blog. At age 37, I hit CPF Full Retirement Sum (FRS) of $176,000 on the last day of 2019, twelve years after graduating from university. I am married and owns a 4-room apartment. I continue to be gainfully employed to build up my portfolio and provide my loved ones with better lives. Leaving everything behind and transitioning to a digital nomad life in Bali remains an option but not something that I’m actively pursuing now 🙂
