Reflection – 2021

And just like that, we are done with 2021 and ready to welcome 2022. Thought it’d be good to pen my thoughts down and reflect on the year that has been. It has been a year filled with hope, happiness and plenty of promises. We started the year filled with the promise that this may be the year we rid the world of the Covid Pandemic, alas, we are seeing Omicron striking fear into many countries and restricting travel once again. Hopefully the reports that it is milder than Delta is true and we can look forward it it as another step towards the end of the Pandemic. Inflation has also hit us badly and this can be felt on the ground at the moment. I see transportation, utilities, food prices all rising sharply. Hopefully there is a mitigation plan from the government and we will be able to bring this price hike to a manageable level next year....
