Last month, we celebrated Baby Ong turning 1 year old! Time flies! I'm guessing it was very fun for her (lots of presents too) but it was extremely tiring for us because we had to hold multiple parties across different days/weekends for our families and friends due to the covid visiting restrictions. Besides the usual cake, presents and birthday songs, we did this pretty fun activity called zhua zhou (抓週). According to Wikipedia: The parents put various objects before the child. Parents will often put objects that symbolize career choices or personality traits. The child's choice is used to forecast its future. Guess what? She chose the painting palette (artist) twice in a row! I guess she's going to become an NFT artist/creator. lol. Daddy shall collect more NFT and passed to you in the future. Hahahaha.
