In Singapore, there are many Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) available. What is an Integrated Shield Plan (IP)? First and foremost, it is important to note that all Singaporeans are covered by MediShield Life – a basic health insurance plan that is issued by the Government to help Singaporeans defray large medical expenses and selected outpatient treatment costs. MediShield Life can be paid annually using your MediSave account, or a family member’s MediSave account.
