Tesla has fallen about 30% since he announced his plan to buy Twitter. Are investors finally growing tired of Musk’s theatrics? Plus, economists, CEOs, and politicians are split over the likelihood of a US recession. Elon Musk has a “super bad feeling” about the economy but most of Wall Street are optimistic the Federal Reserve can tap on the brakes to bring inflation down without tipping the economy into a recession. Finally, US-listed shares of Didi Global rose 24% on Monday after Chinese authorities said they could wrap up their investigation into the company as soon as this week. Could regulatory crackdowns on China’s internet sector be easing up?
