Are Your Miles Still Worth the Chase in 2022?

As if inflation wasn’t enough yet, starting today (5 July 2022), Krisflyer miles will once again be devalued. This basically means you will need more miles to redeem your free flight. Krisflyer’s last devaluation occurred back in January 2019 and as travel picks up again post-covid, it makes sense (business wise) to increase its pricing. How Much Has Been Devalued? To keep this article short and sweet, I’ll be showing and comparing the increase for Business Class Saver and Economy Class Saver only. That will give you and idea of the % increase for various countries (Zones) for both classes. BUSINESS CLASS SAVER ECONOMY CLASS SAVER In general, this means that I would need to save 10% – 15% more miles to redeem a one way business class flight and 8%-16% for a one way economy economy class flight.
