Ranked: Best Cards to Maximise Cashback/Miles (August 2022)

I rank many credit cards by their earn rates! We have 5 tiers with 1 being the highest earn rate and 5 being the lowest. Different cards have different uses and requirements, so it doesn’t mean that Tier 1 is the best for everyone and Tier 5 is the worst. Instead, see if your transaction/monthly expenses can fit Tier 1 cards. If no, move on to Tier 2, and so forth.

As an adult, I’ve been through many ups and downs in my career path and personal finance journey, not unlike many Singaporeans. From my years as a tied insurance agent turned independent financial adviser, I realised that there are very few sources of proper, unbiased financial advice for working adults to access. Worse, self-styled “financial consultants” are selling products like savings plans and ILPs to the detriment of the clients whose interests they were supposed to serve.
