Portfolio Update – Nov 2022
By Derek  •  November 14, 2022
A quick update before I go for a long vacation. My Lazy Man Portfolio Aside for a slight increase in the cash position, allocation is pretty the same. Fed rate hike was expected and by far FTX capitulation was the biggest news. After moving all my coins to the hardware wallet, my next step is to reduce my DeFI i.e. Liquidity Pool exposure. I am also not very confident of Stablecoins e.g. USDT, USDC and DAI, and will be selling them for BTC and ETH.
My Stock Portfolio Banks continue to dominate my stock portfolio. Since the last portfolio update in June, I have added:
  1. CapLand India T
  2. DBS
  3. Mapletree PanAsia Com Tru
I was waiting for a good time to buy more banks given that interest rates will continue to rise and was hopping to scoop DBS after it went XD but surprising it went up higher than its dividend price. I believe investors optimism will taper once Jerome Powell starts talking things down.
My Robo Portfolio My Sweetheart and I (Endowus) Start Date: Jun 2020 Allocation: 60% Equities, 40% Bonds Gain / Loss: -5.81% Still in the red but loses has been reduced by almost 1% Let's Beat CPF (Endowus) Start Date: Jun 2020 Allocation: 80% Equities, 20% Bonds Gain/Loss: +14.18% Negligible change
My Little One Portfolio A sizeable increase in the portfolio to better plan for my son's education. I bought Nov SSB to form a more stable 'base' and I will be embarking on a regular savings plan on 2800.HK - Tracker Fund of Hong Kong via Fundsupermart. With MoneyOwl Dimensional Fund focusing on the US Market, I believe I have covered the major markets and hopefully the portfolio will achieve decent results after 18 years. My Little One (MoneyOwl) Start Date: Jun 2020 Allocation: 60% Equities, 40% Bonds Gain/Loss: -3.68% Similar to Endowus, losses have reduced by about 1%.
