It is common for many to do a review of their portfolio at the end or start of the year, and I am no exception. It is good to be retrospective and take stock of what happened in the past year. When I read back my previous posts during the period from the end of 2021 to the start of 2022, I realized that I was generally rather pessimistic about the coming year 2022. That is the good thing about having a blog (or a journal), as I can always go back and check what I was thinking about in the past.
