Your analysis on various scenarios and situations helped me consider a wider perspective on the uniquely Singapore real estate scene, because of ABSD measure. I’ve seen many articles on upgrading from BTO or HDB to condo, or decoupling to buy another property to avoid or reduce ABSD. However, I’ve not seen many articles about people who bought multiple properties much earlier before ABSD existed or when ABSD was still in single digit percentages, and what their options could be.
