Guide: How to Cash Out Excess Funds From Credit Cards

Made excess payment to your credit card or have cashback rewards credited as part of a sign-up offer? Or perhaps a transaction was refunded but you’ve already paid off your card bill. Regardless of the reason, here are some ways you can cash out the funds from your credit card instead of spending it on things you don’t want/need. Submit a request with the bank One option would be to raise a refund request with the bank. My experience with a few banks like DBS, OCBC and StanChart is that this is quite possible.

StanChart Use app → go to credit card → tap on Manage → tap on Credit Card Balance Refund
