Financial Goals Progress for November 2024

I am on track to grow my financial assets based on my Financial Goals Progress for November 2024! As we get nearer to the holiday season, my spending was higher due to dining out and shopping. On the back of higher spending, the total value of my financial assets grew slightly from 84.01% in October to 84.33% in November. For new readers, you may be asking why am I updating the progress of reaching my financial goals every month? I have set myself a financial goal to stash sufficient money (target) which can help me to retire early in Singapore.  I have written a post about Financial Freedom versus Financial Independence. I am a working salaried professional in my mid 30s. Just like most Singaporeans, I worked long office working hours, often trying very hard to find some work life balance. The Sweet Retirement Blog was created to share my journey towards achieving a comfortable retirement life. I believe we cannot simply rely solely on our Central Provident Fund savings when reaching old age. Neither can we rely solely on our bank savings as we all know the interest rates cannot beat inflation.
