Nerfed: KrisFlyer UOB Reduces Earn Rate, Increases Minimum Spend From 1st June 2025

In a text message sent to cardholders, UOB has informed KrisFlyer UOB cardholders that “there will be updates to existing card benefits” (emphasis mine). Updates and revisions are almost never good news, and this time it is indeed bad news — KrisFlyer UOB card will reduce its higher earn rate of 3 miles per dollar to 2.4 while simultaneously increasing the minimum spend on Singapore Airlines Group transactions required in a year from S$800 to S$1,000. Earn rate on dining, online shopping etc. drops to 2.4 miles per dollar If the minimum spend within a membership year is met, KrisFlyer UOB currently offers 3 miles per dollar on dining, food delivery, online shopping, online travel, and transport. 1.2 miles per dollar is first awarded at the end of the month, with a bonus 1.8 miles per dollar given after the end of the membership year....
