DBS 1Q2025 Financial Results

On 8th May 2025, DBS announced their 1Q2025 financial results. Singapore Banks like DBS are good dividend paying stocks. Are you interested to know what is DBS profit before tax and net profit? If you have bought DBS like me during last month’s stock market crash, you might also be wondering how DBS share price reacted after announcing its 1Q2025 financial results. In 1Q2025, DBS recorded a profit before tax of S$3.44 billion. Total income grew 6% year-on-year to S$5.91 billion driven by the growth in commercial book income and strong markets trading income. Commercial book total income up 4% year-on-year to S$5.54 billion. Despite the growth in total income, Net Profit was 2% lower year-on-year at S$2.90 billion.
