No one wants to see you succeed in life Most people say, “Share your success. Celebrate your wins.” But real life doesn’t work that way. The uncomfortable truth is this: Very few people genuinely want to see you succeed — especially when your success forces them to confront their own insecurities, comparisons, or stalled progress. In this talk, I share a hard-earned perspective on why: Only parents and children truly celebrate your success unconditionally Friends often drift away after you succeed Colleagues become competitors Bosses may feel threatened Relatives only share joy when there is shared benefit And why broadcasting success on social media is one of the most dangerous modern traps This is not bitterness. This is clarity. When success comes, say a prayer of gratitude. Thank those who helped you. Give quietly to charity. And live a contented, peaceful life — without needing validation.
