Every few years, the world reminds us that geopolitics can get ugly.
Right now, it’s the Iran-Middle East situation. Before this, it was Russia’s invasion of Ukraine that kept fuel and commodity prices elevated for the better part of two years. And before that, there was always something else.
I’m not a geopolitical analyst, and I don’t pretend to understand the full picture of what’s happening between Iran, the US, and the broader Middle East. But I do hold Singapore retail REITs, and whenever something big happens in the world, my brain does the same thing.
