Long Term Financial Goal Progress for March 2026I am sharing an update on my Financial Goals Progress for March 2026. The above chart shows the total value of my financial assets expressed as a percentage of my overall financial goal. These assets include my insurance savings, savings accounts, fixed deposits, Singapore Savings Bonds, Singapore Treasury Bills, the current market value of my stocks, and the funds in my Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) account. I would not say that I have reached financial freedom but setting a financial goal helps me work towards it. This month, the total value of my assets continued to decline. The decline was attributed to the dip in total value of my stock portfolio. Because of the Iran war with the US, the share prices of most stocks in my stock portfolio fell. I am a working salaried professional in my mid 30s. Just like most Singaporeans, I worked long office working hours, often trying very hard to find some work life balance. The Sweet Retirement Blog was created to share my journey towards achieving a comfortable retirement life.
