Over the last two years, several new condo launches have recorded strong take-up rates that have seen units snapped up by eager buyers. Gone are the days where we would watch new launch prices gradually climb over several months, or in some cases years. From Springleaf Residences to River Modern, it’s become common to see headlines reporting on the sales of new projects that are nearly completely sold out over the initial sales weekend. The units that don’t get immediately sold tend to be the largest and priciest ones, which take longer for buyers to rationalise.
