Most industrial buildings in Singapore that are zoned for ‘Business 1’ use – which includes light manufacturing activities, media and publishing, and media production – are built to be functional first. The design of the frontage, lobby and finishings are often at, or nearly at, the bottom of the list of expenses a developer would include while building a new B1 industrial property. But in Aljunied, one building breaks away from this usual pattern.
