For buyers looking for sheer space, duplex units are one of the more interesting resale market offerings. Being double-storeyed, these homes often provide a clearer separation between communal and private spaces, whilst also offering features such as family areas, roof terraces, and balconies; elements that would be too inefficient for conventional smaller layouts. Many of these larger duplex homes were developed in the 1990s and early 2000s, when floor area was generally more generous than it is today. Whilst they may not have the latest facilities or finishes, they can offer considerably more living space than many newer family-sized condos at a similar price point.
