Malaysian property developer Tropicana Corporation Berhad has reached a significant milestone for its long-term development plans in Langkawi. For the past five years it has been working to complete its three-tower serviced suite collection on Pantai Cenang. The entire development is called Tropicana Cenang, which sits on a freehold site on Pantai Cenang, Langkawi’s busiest tourist beach. Tropicana launched the 831-unit Assana in 2021, followed by the 60-unit Merissa in 2023. Both of the first two towers, Assana and Merissa, were completed earlier this year and Tropicana began handing over the units to the new owners in April this year. But units in the third and final tower – the 806-unit Clarissa – are still on the market and the tower is scheduled for completion by 2030.
