COE Prices Have Gone INSANE — And They Could Go Even Higher! 🚗💸 Singapore’s COE prices have just crossed another eye-watering level. 🚗 Category A: $128,501 🚙 Category B: $131,001 Just think about that. More than $128,000 for the right to own a car — before you even pay for the car itself! And here’s the worrying part: industry observers are warning that COE premiums could rise even further this year, with reduced quota and delays in deregistered vehicles returning their COEs to the market potentially keeping supply tight. I couldn’t help looking at these numbers and thinking: This is getting ridiculous. But perhaps I’m not alone. At these COE levels, has car ownership in Singapore simply become too expensive for the average family?
