The markets are starting to rumble again.
After the powerful stock-market rally, several warning signals are suddenly flashing at the same time.
๐ The US 10-Year Treasury yield has surged back above 5%, returning to levels last seen around 2007 as stronger economic data raises expectations of further Fed tightening.
๐ข๏ธ Oil prices are climbing again, with WTI around US$91 and Brent around US$101 in the latest screenshots. The Middle East remains the key wildcard.
๐บ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ท USโIran negotiations have made some progress โ but major differences remain. Iran insists it has NOT abandoned its conditions, while uncertainty continues over the Strait of Hormuz.
๐ฅ At the same time, the Houthi situation is heating up, with threats against American interests should the U.S. intervene in Yemen or Bab el-Mandeb.
๐ And Wall Street is reacting. At the time of the screenshots, the S&P 500 was down about 0.47% and Nasdaq-100 about 0.71%.
๐ฅ But perhaps the most interesting development is GOLD. Gold has fallen again to around US$4,295/oz, despite continuing geopolitical risks. Higher interest rates and a stronger U.S. dollar have recently been major headwinds for bullion.
Could this latest gold sell-off eventually create another Crash Buying opportunity?
Tonight, I'll connect the dots between oil, Treasury yields, inflation, interest rates, geopolitics, stocks and gold โ and explain what investors should be watching next.
This is getting interesting again. Don't miss the livestream!
