I saw three specialists in 1 day at S$100+ each
By 1M65  •  September 30, 2026
Healthcare costs are becoming an increasingly important consideration for Singaporeans, especially as we get older and require more specialist care. Recently, I decided to explore a practical alternative. Within ONE DAY, I managed to see three different medical specialists for three long-lingering health issues — across the Causeway in Johor Bahru. What surprised me was not simply the lower cost. I was impressed by the quality of the specialists, the speed of getting treatment, the efficiency of the entire process, and the overall standard of care. In this video, I share my actual hands-on experience — how I arranged the appointments, what I went through, how quickly everything was completed, and most importantly, how much I actually paid. For Singaporeans planning for retirement, healthcare is a major component of long-term financial planning. While Singapore has an excellent healthcare system, there may be situations where looking across the Causeway can provide another option for managing healthcare expenses — particularly for consultations, specialist reviews and treatments where appropriate. This is not about saying one healthcare system is better than another. It is about understanding the options available to us and making informed decisions about quality, convenience and cost. My experience genuinely opened my eyes to another possible healthcare cost-management strategy for Singaporeans. This video is based entirely on my personal experience. It is not sponsored and should not be taken as medical advice. Always consider your individual medical needs and seek appropriate professional advice. #SingaporeHealthcare #HealthcareCosts #RetirementPlanning #HealthcarePlanning #CostOfLivingSingapore #SingaporeRetirement #MedicalCosts #JohorBahruHealthcare #MedicalTourism #FinancialPlanning #Singaporeans #1M65...
