STI ended higher at 2811.20 (0.6%) with HIGH VOL of 1.42 billion shares traded compared with 1.24 billion shares Wednesday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 244 to 132. Today STI went up slightly on moderate buying pressure as investors are unlikely to buy any higher.
