Yangzijiang acquires shipbuilding facilities US$63 mln!

On 16/Dec, Singapore shares end flat Thursday as renewed fears on euro-zone sovereign debt hurt the market sentiment. STI ended flat at 3147.67 (0.02%) with LOW VOL of 1.11 billion shares traded compared with 1.48 billion shares Wednesday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 280 to 153. Despite STI managed to close flat but 65% of stocks ended negative which affirms to the poor confidence of the investors on the market ahead. Headline in STI Before market close Raffles Medical plan to invest $200-$300 million to construct a hospital in China to tap into the growing medical care. Noble Group with a stake of 25 per cent in Blackwood Corporation Limited which have been relisted on the Australian Securities Exchange following a US$11.9 million capital raising. Pan Pacific Hotels Group Ltd. (H49.SG) plan to acquire Hilton Melbourne Airport Hotel in Australia for cash ......
