ST Eng 4Q net profit rose 11% to S$144 million!

On 15/Feb, Singapore shares end lower Tuesday as regional inflation concerns prompt investors to transfer funds toward developed markets.

STI ended lower at 3080.66 (0.8%) with LOW VOL of 1.6 billion shares traded compared with 1.16 billion shares Monday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 430 to 108.  Another massive killing of the Singapore market prompt investors to sell in fear as the trading volume reaches higher than yesterday’s rally.

Singapore Exchange Ltd. (S68.SG) and ASX Ltd. (ASX.AU) have agreed to make changes to the governance arrangements of a proposed merged entity of the two bourses.

After market close

Cosco Corp. (F83.SG) has won shipbuilding contracts worth US$113 million.

Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd. (S63.SG) 4Q net profit that rose 11% to S$144 million compared with S$129.7 million a year earlier.
