Many people have different interpretations of investments. For mine, investments is a buy and hold but for others, the way they invest is like gambling, gambling a hot stock and if the trend is not in the “investors’” favour, they will quickly sell their stocks. With the World Cup 2014, it is expected that investments and trading will take a backseat while fund managers and investors chase after the world-cup. Chasing after the world cup is just one side of the equation, I think many people are taking the chance to punt on their favourite soccer teams in this world cup too.
