Dear readers, Merry Christmas to you! Many decades ago, while I was in full-time National Service, in an attempt to expedite us recruits to doing something, my sergeant yelled: “What are you waiting for? Christmas?” Yes, its Christmas now, my sergeant and everyone! While I do not really party all out to celebrate Christmas, Christmas to me is quite a meaningful festival as first and foremost, Christmas is all about celebration of love and secondly it is that festival before the close of the year and it is while during Christmas every year that I do my “stock taking” (stock, not in the investing sense) of myself in the different arenas of my life which include the most important things in life.
