For the first half of 2015, Net profits were up 12% which is very decent. I expect full year earnings to be up around 10%, likely another good year for banks as they are a good proxy to Asia's growing economy.
Net interest margin, which is the spread they earn between borrowing and lending. NIM rebounded to 1.67% and with long term interest rates set to move up... I think we may see it moving towards 2% in the 2-3 years to come.
