4 months after my first review of The Intelligent Investor (here), I have finally found some time to read my 2nd investing classic - Peter Lynch's Beating the Street. About the Author: Peter Lynch is a legendary stock investor best known for his time as the manager of the Magellan Fund at Fidelity Investments between 1977 and 1990. During his time at Magellan, Lynch averaged a 29.2% annual return, consistently more than doubling the S&P 500 market index and making it the best performing mutual fund in the world. About the Book: Beating the Street is Peter Lynch's 2nd book after One Up on Wall Street. While One Up on Wall Street was more about the theories of stock picking, Beating the Street served to illustrate the applications of these theories.
