10 rights, 6 wrongs

Revisiting 6 rights, 2 wrongs a previous post that I have written in 2016, this is an update 2+ years since:
What do we see?

That I have learnt my lesson.

Now 10 rights, 6 wrong. Overall gain for equity portfolio = 8.09%

It would have been 12 rights have I not sold my YZJ holdings a couple weeks ago (@ $1.25, ugh!) and M1 still on board (took up the offer to release at $2.06).

I have no multi-bagger. My overall gain is modest... so nothing to brag about here. If I have known which are the stellar stocks, I would not be having 16 but perhaps less than 6 stock holdings and put most of my fortune there.

But sadly, I have to admit, I am not a very good stock picker and neither am I good in timing the market. I can only control what I can control.

I began exploring the financial world in year 2010, hoping to get out of the rat race and be financially independent. 2010 was the aftermath period of the Lehman crisis when a pretty shaken up market was struggling to recover. On hindsight, that was the perfect time to catch multi-bagger stocks should I be a veteran or at least had some basic knowledge of picking up 'gems'. My learning curve was steep then, as I have absolutely no friends or relative who could shed some light on what's investing about.
