“The most important thing in the world is family and love.” –John Wooden I heard my mum mention to a friend a few days ago that Mr.C and I worked very hard and planned for this adventure very carefully. That was a nice comment but I did realize at that moment that that’s only half the picture. We could not have done this without our family. No, they were not 100% behind the idea. There was uncertainty, there was worry and there was also disbelief. But they were there for us 150%, every step of the way when we needed their love, support and help. We couldn’t have managed this trip without our respective parents helping to ensure our children were well taken care of while we worked. They took care of the kids when we needed help the most and enabled a double income household. There was no way we would have made this happen this soon without them, so we thank you, our wonderful parents....
