Over the past week, mainstream media reported that Robinson’s has thrown in the towel and decided to liquidate. It is a sad end to one of Singapore’s most established and renowned departmental store. I visited the Raffles City outlet earlier during the weekend and many of the shelves were emptied with crowds thronging for the last minute sale.
