1.Singapore may evaluate food import licensing conditions to diversify food sources: Grace Fu Summary:Singapore may evaluate its food import licensing conditions to diversify food sources. This applies to items such as chicken and eggs, following Malaysia's recent export ban on the poultry. In Parliament on July 4, Sustainability and the Environment Minister Grace Fu also provided reassurance on Singapore's food security amid the volatile global situation due to the Ukraine war. She added that Singapore's agencies are working closely to ensure adequate food stockpiling. Personal opinion: The recent chicken export has undoubtedly influenced the chicken price in Singapore. Even the chicken rice at my nearby coffee shop has increased by 50 cents. This is unavoidable due to inflation and other factors. Perhaps this will lead to a rise in the trend of cooking and eating at home in the future?

Hi everyone, I'm soniceric, my real name is of course not soniceric, it's just Ericsson :) The reason I name this blog as soniceric is a word play on the brand of "sony Ericsson" hence soniceric(geddit?) I am currently a 22 years old nsf who is about to ord soon and receiving a paltry ns allowance of $800 per month. To date, I have managed to save more than 10k and have already use the money for various purpose(emergency fund, peer to peer lending,posb invest saving and stocks, trading etc).
